Tam used to work for Torchwood 3, in Cardiff, and is cousins with Ianto Jones. She is organized and efficient, and knows anything and everything about Torchwood, especially if it concerns her beloved archives.
She is gifted with Total Recall, and can spout lists of information when you get her started - the only way to shut her up is by giving her a cup of coffee or a computer.

She lives at no. 12 Greenfort Rd with her boyfriend, James Gage, and has a neutered ginger cat, Charlie.
